    Exactly! When I stretch out my hand, it's about 6" (1/2 foot) from thumb tip to little finger tip. Actually a little more (7"), but just to quick-measure a squirmy snake or something, it's useful.

    Should be fine for a male ball python, king/corn/milk snake, dwarf locality boa or boa sigma, African house snake, BRB, some of the smaller pythons like Savu or childrens, etc. Also boas grow pretty slowly so it'll be a while before your BCI outgrows it, which gives you time to find its adult-sized home.
