Remote sensors

I am planning to try maternal incubation this year. What I want is a therm/ hydrometer with remote sensors so I don't disturb momma. I looked at zoo med but the reviews are less than encouraging. Suggestions Please! Thanks

IR temp gun, any brand or model.

I use Acurite brand tabletop hygrometers, little ones, and hang them in the enclosure somewhere. So long as humidity is not crazy out of range, she'll moderate it. Same with temps, really -- just run the enclosure as always, and she'll figure out what's the best spot to sit.

FWIW, I maternally incubated brongersmai once, and that's the extent of my experience. It went very well (top 10 list of coolest reptile things ever, actually), but N=1 is what it is.

I’ve got three different ones from eBay and Amazon ( all yellow though lol) . All three under ten dollars and all give almost exact readings .. it vexes me when I see people saying you have to get an expensive one

Idk what kind of budget and enclosure you have but Herpstat has both thermal and humidity probes that are very accurate that can be used to monitor both metrics.
