    Got a Cali Kingsnake

    Got this little guy from Petsmart. Surprisingly, the guy working there knew what he was talking about.
    Cool disposition on this dude. Hasn't bitten me yet (knock on wood). Lol, sorry, never had a king before. I keep a cornsnake in the same room (diff. tank of course).

    Sweet! I love his color & pattern. Young kings aren't much into biting- their mouths are too small to be effective- it's the 'other end' you have to watch out for, lol. But they learn pretty fast, & yours may already have been handled enough to relax- as he seems to be doing. Keep us posted, we can use the variety around here.

    What a great species to work with. Love them. I got a baby once and she would pee on me when I first got her. She never was a bitter either. Love food though. LOL. Enjoy.

    Great looking snake! I just picked one up myself a few weeks ago, same morph. Looking forward to watching them both grow!
