A friend of mine from out of state just recently sent me three of her ball pythons. Two of them have very bad sheds going on and one of these isn't sounding great. She's mouth breathing and making the typical sounds that make me think RI. However, her nose is clogged, probably from the hundred layer shed, and there is no mucus at all in her mouth. The mouth actually looks pretty healthy. No runny discharge or bubbling. Just a clogged nose, horrible shed, crackling, and occasionally opening her mouth for air.
I can't give the humidity and heat of the enclosure yet as she just went in like 30 minutes ago but I gave her a soak and misted the enclosure before I got her and I'm about to do it again.
The two snakes she's been kept in the same room as don't have any sign of anything other than one of them not shedding very well.
So, what do you guys think, RI or clogged nose that'll be fixed with a few soaks?
