Speaking of prices, I was surprised to see the prices for Antaresia on Morph Market- I was just curious, not shopping. It's been a number of years since I got mine from a private breeder, & paid all of $40- of course, it also helped that he wanted to be rid of the terrible spotted python that refused to eat live for him, so there's that too. I guess all I'm saying is "shop around".

    Re: Children's or Spotted Python?

Stop it! You guys are only getting my more excited and I'm already obsessed. That said, this may be a long process. My wife holds the purse strings and I lost a lot of her support when I presented her with the $500 vet bill from my dear bp, Fonzie's, passing. That's probably a good thing. I'm excitable and I act on impulse. While I'm waiting, I'll think and plan. That doesn't cost anything. Maybe later today, maybe this weekend I'll start a new thread, probably in the DIY forum, with pictures of my current enclosure and my plans to improve it. I look forward to hearing your input.

It's comforting, to say the least, to know that I'll have the support of experienced keepers. Losing Fonzie was traumatic. I'll feel a lot more confident getting and caring for a new snake knowing I can rely on all of you. Thanks.
