    Heat source for BCI enclosure

Setting up my 4x2x2 for a baby BCI that will be arriving in a few weeks and I have been going back and forth on heat sources. What do you guys use? The enclosure is equipped for heat mats, RHP, and DHP, but a ceramic heat emitter wouldn’t work. What’s the best option in your opinion.

For reference, I live in Western New York, so winters here are pretty cold and dry. We keep the house about 75, but it’s older so it can get drafty.

I have a 4x2x15". Also live in New York, and the room where my snakes are gets to as low as 65. I only use an RHP, and have absolutely no issues with heat. I know yours is a little taller, but I think an RHP would work great that. And... if you add levels (branches, shelf's, etc) you can also vary the vertical gradient a bit.

Thank you so much! What wattage do you use? I’ve got lots of branches and ledges to offer some climbing options, so that’s definitely in the plan.

I have a Pro Products 100 watt panel, which is 12" x 24" x 1". And, based on the recommendation from Bob at Pro Products, I have the probe placed on the cool side.
