    Split Vent Scale

I picked up this male super Mojave and noticed that he has a split vent scale. Is it just a fluke or does it signify something in particular?

The scale isn't actually split, it's just bent/folded inward. It will go back to normal by itself

I've heard of it happening with some morphs, but I can't remember which. Might just be a fluke though.

The scale is bent, however the two scales before it and that bent scale ( even though it is difficult to see) are all split.

Ohh I see now, that’s interesting! Maybe the scales just developed in an unusual way. Are the split scales actually two distinct scales? Or is there just a line down the middle

2 separate scales. I actually checked a few of my other snakes and one has a single split scale towards her vent. I’m assuming it’s just some unique thing that happens once in a while.
