Need names ideas for my first ball python

I recently got my first pet ball python. He's doing well, has eaten frozen/thawed twice in the three weeks I've had him. But I still haven't thought about a name for him. I want something regal and maybe snake related. I was thinking Lucifer but I'm not sure that suits him. Let me know any of your naming ideas. Thanks for helping. I'm really glad I found BP.net when I got him. The photo with me handling him was taken when I first got him.

I tend to take a long while to name most of my animals to find just the right name. So many still not named.

His "emoji" marking on his tail is pretty cool and looks like it's changing moods depending on how his tail is bent but that may just be the particular camera angles. That might help think of something clever.

I think Lucifer is a really cool name but I wouldn't name a BP that because I would confuse myself and my family because of the morph Lucifer. What about something similar like Mephisto or Azazel or something?

Makes sense. His emoji marking is what finally sold the idea of getting a ball python to my boyfriend lol. Because you noticed it changing it makes me wonder if I should call him Jekyll or Hyde lol

I take my time naming snakes too- I like to know their personality better & that takes a while. It's not as if he's going to come when you call him- so there's really no rush for a name- I'd just let names come to you & when one feels right, you'll know. I also avoid any names with negative connotations- because too many people already hate or fear snakes- a cute or funny name can help them warm to your pets.

    Congrats on the new addition!

I like Jekyl and Hyde or Ying and Yang, Ying/Yang.

The latter being more about balance and his pied genetics and doesn't necessarily carry the negative association as Jekyl and Hyde.

Either way, congrats again and keep us posted on his progress.

    Archimedes (discovered pi)?

I hope to add a pied to my collection one day, love how they look!

When it comes to naming my animals, we don't take too long to decide in this house. Everyone in the family throws out names they like and we'll eventually decide on the one that "feels" right...

    My BP's (by age):

    Groot
    Pretzel
    Oreo
Lucy (a blue eyed leucistic, original!)
Logo (my hold back from my first ever clutch).

    My (kids) leopard geckos:

    Ice-Cream
    Tango

Finally, congrats. Looks like a stunning little guy
I'll probably forget by the time you've read this...

Archimedes is a nice name. I usually don't take long deciding on a name but I just can't find one that fits yet. My goal since I'm only allowed one snake, for now, was I might as well get a really pretty morph and when I started looking pieds just really stood out to me. Love my little boy. He's great.

Update: I've decided on the name Remi. Kinda of like Remulius and Romulus who fought over where to found Roman. I found out Remi is a little trouble maker who would probably fight with a brother if he had one so I think it suits him.
