    But if the father is a single gene champagne, where would it have picked up the second allelic gene? Mom should be throwing mojaves or specials, they can't be both. Unless you just meant champagne Special and not champagne, mojave and special combined?

    Shoot, you are right. I'd lean more towards Champagne Mojave than Champagne Special because Mojave is a lot stronger erasing side pattern, but either way, the hatchling should be darker. Maybe something is being missed, but I don't think it's Spider.

    They look like pretty standard examples of their respective morphs as far as I can tell.
