Feed at full size
Hello im wondering how long it usally takes a corn to reach full adult size and what size do they take at full size. Also is it better to pick corns up at a expo or just ordering them off the web from the breeder. Thanks Aaron

Re: Feed at full size
My friend was keeping a corn for her teacher over the summer, and she fed her 3 "fancy" mice from the pet shop every week (of course no one was selling feeders lol). I don't really know what that would translate to if you wanted to just feed it one mouse/rat....possibly a small rat every week? They stay very slender, even though they are about the same length as balls, so I don't know for sure if you'd want to go smaller than you would will a full grown ball.
As for the expo or ordering online, I'd have to say just go with whatever you happen to prefer (IMO). There are a LOT of corn snake breeders out there; whenever I go to a show there are always plenty of very nice animals being sold (and they sell FAST!), and the prices don't vary that much between an online or expo snake. I guess what it boils down to is if you see "THE CORN", just get it, wherever it may be, assuming of course that it is healthly looking, etc ^__^
Just my humble opinion, hope that helps a little! =D

Re: Feed at full size
Well I can tell you my adult california kingsnakes (around the same size as an adult corn) can easily take a small rat.
It'll take 3-4 years to get full grown.
