Should I keep Hatchlings in the incubator???

I appreciate all the help on our Het Axanthic clutch. So next question that I can't seem to find a definite answer to, We are keeping the baby's in the same tub they hatched in on a paper towel. Can you keep them in the incubator until they shed and then move them into individual tubs in a rack? I'm worried that 88-90 ambient temperatures would be to hot without anywhere to go to regulate heat. I currently have them in a rack over heat tape that gives them a hot spot that puts the ambient temperatures around 82-84. Thanks for any suggestions.

It really depends on a lot of factors. I split mine up and put them in the rack in shoebox tubs even before shedding once all of them are out of the egg completely. If you have a large enough incubator, and it's at 88 or less, you could probably leave them in there as long as you provide a water dish and switch to a tub with air holes. I wouldn't do it at 90, or with a small incubator because then you have to open it often to give them fresh air and it's going to mess up temps for your other clutches.

I separate mine when they leave the egg and put them in individual vision v-18 tubs on wet paper towels with hides and a water dish. Some people put them all in the same tub until they hatch and just like stated above some people leave them in the incubator. It’s whatever works best for you. Try them all and see what works
