Does my bp have any hidden genes or hets?

Does she have any hets or hidden genes? She's A scaleless head normal..at least i think, the way i know shes a scaleless head is because she has the genetics for it, if you look at a yt video it says if her last scale before the vent is split then they're a scaleless head, and she has that. Her head shows no scaleless though, i've been looking, and she lets me hold her head so its pretty easy to look. Anyways, i've been looking at regular bp's and they don't seem to have her pattern, well at least with the way it "Flows" if you want to say that. My chromebook's camera is pretty bad, or i just am trash at taking pictures, but right before the colored scales hits the white it fades into a creamy yellow with some brown and stuff. I did a pretty horrible job of explaining it but i don't think she's a pastel. Anyways, thanks.

It would appear you have taken something they said a bit out of context. A scaleless head still has noticeable difference in the scales on the head. What you are describing is another marker in addition to that.

Yours has an interesting pattern that is atypical for a normal. It may or may not be a morph. No way to know if it is heritable without test breeding. Many normals can have oddities to their pattern or colors without it being something that passes on to offspring. There are a few at the top of my head that it could be, but without knowing the lineage of the animal or having something more obvious, it's safe to assume it's a normal.

With very few exceptions, what people refer to as "hets" are not something you can tell by looking at the animal. When someone says an animal is het something, they mean it carries that morph, but two copies are required to give a visual effect.

Nope. Scaleless head is the heterozygous form (single copy of the genetic mutation) of a fully scaleless (homozygous form) ball python. If it possessed this genetic trait it would manifest phenotypically as a ball python with a reduction of scalation on the top of the head.

Close up, in focus pictures of the top of its head would be helpful in identifying. If you didn’t buy it as a scaleless head then it’s highly unlikely that it is.
