Hardware store sprayers

Hello, I’ve recently been shopping around for a new sprayer/mister for my snakes. I’ve seen several videos were people use the bigger pump style sprays that you might find at a hardware store. I like the idea of having a 2 gallon reservoir tank because I have more than 30 enclosures to do at a time. My concern is that they all have this prop 65 warning on them. Known to the state of California to cause cancer and what not. Is this something I should worry about?

Hard to find things that do not have that warning around here. It's probably because it's made from a type of plastic known to leech. I'm not sure if there are some food safe ones made for some restaurant reason to avoid that. I would imagine any leeching would be very minimal if you dump out the water between uses and make sure not to store the container somewhere in sunlight or high heat.

If you have a Harbor Freight near you take a look. The 5 gal backpack model can be had for $19.99 with coupon. I have six of them. One for reptiles an the others for farm stuff. Label them for what they get (wood stain, pest, fertilizer, grass killer...) an don't cross use them. HF also has 2.5 gallon ones but I don't use them.

I haven't killed one in five years. The more expensive ones never lasted two years even with rebuild kits (seals an washers).

Everything causes cancer in California. I once picked up a hammer that had that warning on it. A hammer, and I am not even kidding.
