Not sure if this questions belongs in this sub-forum, if not Mods please move it.

What size box would you use to ship a 450 gram ball python? 6x6x6? 10x10x10? or something in between? thanks!

I would not use 6x6x6 to ship a 450g under any conditions personally, I don't even ship hatchlings in that small of a box. Just not enough room for insulating and cushioning the snake. You have to keep in mind how much of that is taken up by the foam, and then you have to pad with paper or something on top of that. 8x8x7 is a size I have gotten that vast majority of snakes shipped to me, and the size I have shipped out hatchlings to about 350g without problems with the exception of one shipped in the dead of winter that had a heat pack failure (temp gun showed 140F when it arrived to me). 12x9x6 should be ample room for 450g, but I have only had a handful of animals in or out of that size or bigger so I am speaking on limited experience for that size.
