How long can a bp go with lower than usual air temp?

Ok so my habistat reptile radiator conked out earlier and the new one I ordered won’t be delivered until before 3pm Wednesday (UK time - GMT), it’s currently Wednesday 12:06am (GMT), so basically I want to how long my bp can go without the normal air temp, the surface temp will be fine as I’ve moved him into a separate enclosure that has a heat mat underneath it which’s all good.

*Just in case you don’t know what a rep' radiator is, it’s also known as a radiant heat panel (RHP), it can be placed inside a viv either on the side or on the roof of a viv. In my case it’s the roof (inside).

I have had cold deliveries that are ok after time.
My opinion only. Its a reptile, cold blooded. It can handle a drop if the temperature is raised slowly.

If it's within reason and they are not digesting something, a week is probably just fine. They deal with suboptimal temps during shipping, which can take a little while overseas. If they ate recently enough, it could cause a regurge.

Surface temp now is between 82*f and 86*f. I have the thermostat set on 40*c as the heat needs to pass through the glass cover over the heat mat, newspaper & substrate so he won’t get burned.

But right now though in the separate enclosure the air temp is just 27*c which’s about 80*f.

If the air temps are 80 it will be just fine. Nothing to worry about except you. How do you sleep in a 80F house? I have free nights on my electricity and kick my AC down to 65 at night.

We’ve got a bit of a heat wave going on here the temp now in this room is 24*c at 3:40am & windows are open which’s about 76*f. Most homes don’t have an AC here.

I would say anything above 70F I wouldn't worry about a couple days. Ideally it wouldn't drop below 74F. That's my personal preference for my snake room, 74-77. But it's been above and below that. Coming into the hot months here in Texas my room heater will hardly even be doing anything and it can get over 80. I'll have to crack the door and open the AC vent a tad too keep it cooler.
