Focus Cubed PVC tops for the Exo Terra enclosures

So back on 5.06.21 on another thread this was posted by Caitlin

Just wanted to say thanks for the post... I looked over their website and found these:

Replacement pvc tops for the Exo-Terra enclosures... They have screened tops that are removable

I have 3 of them ordered, just waiting on them to be made. They can ship 3 for the same shipping as 1.

This looks like it will help a lot keeping humidity in instead of covering the screen tops with foil.

I was recently planning to build an acrylic lid for my exo-terra but this might be easier. Thanks!

Re: Focus Cubed PVC tops for the Exo Terra enclosures

I received the Focus Cubed tops for my Exo-Terra enclosures on Friday. They are well made and fit perfectly.

The only thing I noticed is the top little plastic latch can no longer be used. Granted they were almost useless and would not hold the doors closed if the

bottom latch wasn't latched to start with. Looks like I can make a small slot to use them and they might actually be useful, and work better that way.

2 I got are black and solid (no screen) they have slots for venting. They darken the top of the enclosure so it's not open screen or shiny foil now.

Eggroll my really shy BP even came out and looked around after I installed it on her enclosure. She Never does that. So it might help with the snakes

    feeling secure too.

Haven't noticed any difference in temps or humidity in the enclosures yet. But probably wont see a difference until winter time.

They do look strong enough to mount a small RHP from Reptile Basics, which would be nice to do for the colder winter months.

I think they were worth the purchase, and am glad I got them, I think they are a nice upgrade to the screen top that was on there.

1st pic is factory top without my foil inserts, 2nd is Focus solid top, 3 is Focus top with screen insert (for Corn snake).

I was wondering about these. That looks really nice. How secure does it feel? A snake can't push their nose on it to lift and expose any cracks?

They are a solid piece, It is more solid and secure than the screen it came with. It locks in really well

Here is a video from their website, You can see the thickness when they tilt it up. It looks to be about 1/2" thick.
