    Pearl burmese python question

I know albino snakes get pink when they get ready to shed but my 1 year old pearl burmese has a pink tint on his head. I just got him Saturday and I was told he ate on Friday, im wondering if he's getting ready to shed? This is the first morph I've had so I'm unsure, all my other snakes were always wild types. Just need some help on this

I have always gone by the belly to tell of an upcoming shed.

I don't know about Burms but my Blood Pythons can change the color of their heads a good amount.
