    Looks like it might be some sort of dung beetle "relative", maybe? I'm not any sort of expert but I agree it's cool! The natural world is full of wonders, if only we take the time -without fear- to actually look.

    Looks almost like a female stag beetle, but I'm no expert either. Still super cool, I thought at first that it was the beetle form of a superworm, a common feeder, but that head is something else.

    It's a species of Darkling beetle, same family as the Lesser Mealworm (the larvae is a popular feeder). It's a very cool find.
