Question Do you think he is more or less comfortable?

My BP has been in his plastic tub now for about three weeks. While he was in his aquarium, he was never in his hides. He was out almost all day, climbing all over everything. Since he has been in his new home, I never see him. The only time he comes out is to switch from warm hide to cool hide, and sometimes he lays with his head out of his hides a little.

My question....Do you think that he is more or less comfortable now? It reasons to me that maybe he was trying to escape all day in his aquarium? I will say that the overall temps in the tub are a bit lower than they were in the aquarium, but they are where they need to be, and are certainly more consistent.

Or he was uncomfortable there and looking for someplace better?

If he's eating he's fine ... ball pythons that are stressed, don't eat.
