    Black Ratsnake made the news!

I was watching this unfold yesterday on the news once I was alerted to it. Apparently they even had helicopter news coverage of the people trying to find the snake! Meanwhile those of us who know what a black ratsnake looks like, and could tell that's what it was from the original photo, sat back and watched . . and hoped some ill-informed person didn't find and kill the poor snake who was just trying to enjoy some sunshine.

Wow, even helicopter news coverage? I wish they hadn't covered it so well- now there will be those with bad intents looking for the hapless snake. Must have been a slow news day?
