You might try dampening the spot (mist or damp cloth) to see if the old skin easily comes off, but be very gentle about it & don't persist if it seems firmly stuck on.

I suspect that he may have rubbed his head & underneath that bit of old shed that's stuck on is a scab that's still healing- if so, it should come off gradually with future sheds.

If the old skin comes off & it's red, inflamed tissue underneath, I'd buy & apply some Vetericyn ointment (antiseptic made for snake use) to promote healing & fight infection.

Re: Help with ball python skin

Hi, hi checked the skin but it doesn't seem to remove. What can I do? I think is better to leave it as it and wait. What do you think?

Did you attempt the step that Bogerthopis described to you? You're not clear on if you did anything other than looking at the skin, so I'm not sure what advice to give you as I don't know what you've already tried.

Just wait- if that skin doesn't easily come off, that means it is likely still healing from an abrasion injury underneath. For now just wait- he is obviously healing & you don't want to make it worse.

Think of it like a "scab" that a person would have- you don't want to pick at it, just let it heal. When a snake has an injury, they usually shed more often as a way of healing their wound. So be patient & expect this to happen for a while.

Get some of that shed ease by zilla read the directions on it. Says something like put it in look warm water for 20 minutes and make sure you watch the snake so he doesnt drown. Should be good after that. Dont try hard to peel the skin off. If it doesnt come off keep soaking the snake every day.

The OP has already tried a soak- this is obviously an area that was damaged from rubbing his head, & it needs to heal now.

Not to mention that suggesting the OP soak the snake without specifying the shallow depth of the water for safety is rather risky advice, especially when they have some difficulty with English as a second language already. We need to be clear & helpful here, ok?
