Does he need bigger/more meals?
Genjo has been growing 100g+ a month lately. He's currently getting weaned rats every 7 days and weighs 481.9 grams as of today. A month ago he was 372.6 grams and that's when he his food size was upped to weaned rats. Both weights are a day after a shed/defecation. He's never turned down a meal. He's 10 months old and his weight is within the median weight per age charts. He still looks skinny to me, though. Am I overthinking it, or should I up his food frequency/size? He's almost to small rat size already but I need to use up his weaned rats.

His spine looks more exaggerated when he's holding onto something. This is what he looks like at rest.

Read this:

Now, the snake looks great! If mine an I had rats over 40g I'd feed every 10-14 days. But that's me an I like feeding every two weeks. Less turned down meals for me.
Good luck!

Re: Does he need bigger/more meals?
I agree here, Trinityblood, your guy looks great.
I think a weaned rat is fine every 7 days. You can definitely move to every 10-14 if you want, but 7 is okay on weaned rats. I would go to every 10-14 days once on small rats.
I use the chart below for feeding size up to small rats (I do not recommend feeding most BP's medium rats), but tend to disagree with time between meals for older BP's. I think 10-14+ days is fine for essentially full grown or even slower growing BP's.
My female BP, Shayna, is about 2KG and eats a small rat every two weeks when not fasting in the winter.
I think you are doing a great job with him and wouldn't be too worried. He's eating and growing and looks great. All those things point to him being happy and healthy.

Awesome, thanks. That's the feeding chart I'm going by.
