    And thank you for your input on this! It's been quite a while since I've used silicone sealant & I was thinking that I remembered that it took some days or maybe even a week to cure, & I didn't want to say that, but it's far better to be prepared for the delay. If you can sniff any smell from it, it's not ready for occupancy by pets. That's the weird thing about it- the outer surface can feel dry to the touch, but 'inside' it's still not there yet. Good product, but like you said, this is one of those things best done before you have the occupant at home.

    I would get a herpistat 2. It is great it has an alarm when the therostat fails. It has all kinds of cool technology like wifi and you can check the temperatures when you are away from home.

    The problem is i live in UK and i tried to find it here but i could not fine even online
