Hello,

This season I paired my black eyed leucistic female to a fire pinstripe male during the cool months. I have just started the spring warm up and noticed she is nesting above the hot spot and refused food for the first time since I can remember and I've had her since 2013 as a hatchling. I have her in a Freedom Breeder rack with the opaque tubs. I have not actually witnessed a copulation or ovulation but she looks a little chunky, especially for not eating much all winter.

My question is, should I continue to rotate the male in with her or just leave her alone? I'm a long time keeper and new to breeding so I want to make sure the male has time to get the job done, but do not want to put unnecessary stress on her either. I was thinking I could put him in and closely monitor them to see if there is any interest, but would like to get some opinions from people more experienced than me.

Thank you
