    Close to laying? Timeline confusion?

Hey guys, my girl Persephone went from 2700 grams to 3300 grams from November to January, she shed around the first week of January and started seeming big around January 21st. However, no eggs? We would be 3 weeks overdue if that was her post-ovi shed, but if the Jan 21st swelling was her ovulation instead, then she should have shed in the last week or so and there has been nothing. However, her vent has been sucked in for weeks and she is very aggressive, stopped eating, and just sits curled on her heatpad non-stop. The last few days I noticed her back is a little ridged and I saw a post on how that usually indicates laying within 10 days? I've attached a picture, but is it even possible for a snake to not follow the typical trends or am I just very incorrect and she isn't even gravid and just thinning a bit because she's on a winter food strike?

    March 1st:

Here is a pic of her January 21st, when i thought she could be ovulating:

It is possible she is still building and hasn't yet ovulated. My reason for suggesting this is that the two recent pictures you provided, she looks very bright in comparison to the January photo. The term, "they glow before they go" refers to the fact that before they ovulate, they often are much brighter than their normal coloration. A normal can almost look like a fire, that is how dramatic it can be. If she is in fact "glowing" currently, then she likely hasn't ovulated yet. Wish I could be more help but keep an eye on her and best of luck to you.

Based on the info you have provided I think she ovulated ~1-2 weeks ago and will be doing her pre-lay shed in a week or two. Last pic she definitely was not in ovy or even close to it.

In my experience, right when you start asking this question you end up being a month or so out from ovulation. The even swelling the way she looks now will just pop one day. The color is the best indicator that it's all happening.

Ok, so I guess similar question, same time frame ...
both females locked around same time with separate males.
Both cool seeking and in blue right now.
If Spell -locked with Mello (5xs) in October-February and Henny locked with NORE in February jus once...
I’m sure Spell is pregnant... could Henny be pregnant too off one lock ?
Henny has gained weight throughout this time frame but only locked once

Haha, here's an update, she did end up having a post ovi shed a few days after this, we are now 15 days out, and she's looking big!
