    Question Strange Spot

Hey all, any idea what this might be? Looked him over for mites, no mites; no scale rot (I don't think) as his belly is crystal clear. He's a piebald ball python and I have no clue what this is. Saw it today. Been behaving normally and had a big poop yesterday so I have no idea. Thanks in advance.

Meaning the pinkish spot between your fingers & just barely into his white coloration? Can't tell, not close enough, but from here it looks like it might be a scrape (like he rubbed a few scales off)? Looks like it's not bleeding or raw, so it's hardly a big deal at this point, but if it oozes or looks red (ie. appears to become infected) you'd want to use an appropriate topical antiseptic on it (Vetericyn ointment for reptile use is best, or a bit of Betadine -aka povidone iodine). If it's not infected (ie. stays as it is now) I'd ignore it- snakes make their own repairs with subsequent sheds.
