I've been using inkbird for years and they are solid, never had a failure, but they are on/off so don't use with ceramic. The linked version includes night drop settings and handles 1200W for $30 right now, I think I've paid up to $40 for them in the past. My only complaint is that the UI isn't super user friendly while doing the settings like some of the more expensive models, so hang on to the instructions for if you need to adjust and don't remember what each setting is. For the price of a normal thermostat I can buy two of these and set up redundancy to prevent issues in case of failure, even though I've never had it happen with this brand, I'm covered. One time of having a rack overheat with another brand and I will never go without redundancy again.

I would second this. I have 3 of these currently running for going on 4 years now, no issues, easy setup!

I’ve been using Jumpstart thermostats for the past 8 years without a single failure. They’re not fancy but they’ve been efficient and reliable for me.

    3.0 Carpet Pythons, 1.1 Bullsnakes
1.0 Olive Python 1.0 Scrub Python,

Same here, nothing fancy but never had an issue with them. Now I am replacing a few with Herpstats, but you can't beat the price on these.

Agreed. I also have a jumpstart on backup if needed that’s never given me issues over the last few years. The fact that they when/if they do fail they do so in the “on” position makes me paranoid though. They’re certainly better than an unregulated heat source though

This is exactly why I've started making the swap. I love how easy to use Jumpstarts are, but the chance that they MIGHT fail still worries me when I have a pet sitting on the heat source it's controlling. You trust something until it gives you a reason not to, and while that's cool with say a car that might break down, a car breaking down won't burn me to death. (Hopefully)

I hope that made a little sense lol

I've used both JumpStart and Inkbird with no problems. I keep some on hand in case of emergencies. But if you are looking for a good thermostat for everyday use I would encourage you to save up just a little more money and get something like the HerpStat 1 Basic for $115.00
    1.0 Jungle Carpet Python 'Ziggy'
    1.0 Bredl's Python 'Calcifer'
    0.1 Brazilian Rainbow Boa 'Mara'
1.1 Tarahumara Mountain Boas 'Paco' and 'Frida'
2.0 Dumeril's Boas 'Gyre' and 'Titan'
    1.0 Stimson's Python 'Jake'
1.1 Children's Pythons 'Miso' and 'Ozzy'
    1.0 Anthill Python 'Cricket'
    1.0 Plains Hognose 'Peanut'
1.1 Rough-scaled Sand Boas 'Rassi' and 'Kala'
    1.0 Ball Python (BEL) 'Sugar'
    1.0 Gray-banded Kingsnake 'Nacho'
1.0 Green Tree Python (Aru) 'Jade'

Same, but I have been using https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-RT-60.../dp/B07FYXX9L3 for the past six months. It works and is supposed to screech if the temps get too high, but it will not shut itself off if something fails. Aside from harming an animal, I don't like messing with cheaper electrical equipment long term. They can be hazards.
