    Rosy boa temps

    What is basking temperature do you use for your rosy?

    I see some sources recommend no higher than 85F, others from 85-90F.

    As long as your rosy has plenty of room to escape those higher temps, IMO- it doesn't matter that much- use your observations to make adjustments for their preference.

    If your snake avoids basking above 85*, then keep it there or below. Remember that rosy boas are from different areas...some are coastal (cooler), some are desert, & some are intergrades. And some might just be "opinionated"?
