Question Help with Animal Plastics AP(CB70) racks...no tubs seem to fit

Hey all. Hoping someone here can help as I imagine it will be a bit before I hear back from Animal Plastics. I ordered and put together an AP(CB70) rack system. The description said that the rack would fit any standard CB70 tub. Dimensions listed were: 33(1/4)x17(9/16)x5(1/4). I ordered the equivalent tub from Reptile Basics and it in unfortunately just a hair too big for the rack system. So now that I am not ordering based on description (i.e. CB70) and looking at just the dimensions I am having a hard time finding a tub that is going to fit in that rack.

Has anyone here ordered the CB70 rack system from Animal Plastics and successfully found a tub to fit in there? I have two snakes ready to upgrade their cages but it is on hold until I get tubs.

    Thanks in advance.

    Michelle

The reptile basics tubs state on their website that they are larger than a standard cb70 tub as they’re made for the VE Super70 racks. A vision v70 tub should fit most likely. AP also has links for the tubs their racks are made for on their site.

The link for the CB70 is broken sadly...

And I figured out my mistake when I ordered that one only after they arrived. I will look again at the Vision 70 standard tub and see if it will work. Thank you!

Well darn, it looks like Reptile Basic no longer sells "regular" CB70s. Sterilite is too long (by an inch) and Iris is too tall by about .25 inch. I will keep looking but will take any leads! Found the tubs for my other racks--no issue.

    Welcome to the forum Michelle.

Good luck in finding the proper tubs.

It actually looks like that tub is sold out/unavailable/out of stock seriously everywhere entirely. I guess I also never realized that specific tub is 37qts and not 41qts? Certainly a bummer to learn about this after going through the AP wait period for your rack...

I just posted this asking the same question about the 37 qt tub...yes it is sold put everywhere and to my knowledge, IRIS is not manufacturing it right now or discontinued it. Home Depot, Target, Overstock, Amazon....ALL sold out of it.

Freedom Breeder sells their individual tubs (CB70) that I believe fit those dimensions BUT be prepared to pay for them. I iust ordered six with the deli cup holders + 100 deli cups and it was over $150 with shipping. I am planning on putting it in a Reptile Basics rack. And fyi reptile basic offers two different racks made for the super tubs and one that fits the original CB70.

Did these work out for your Reptile Basics rack? Just picked a used 3 slot CB70 and 2 of the tubs have burns... Won't have any snakes large enough to *need* this rack for a while, but the price was too good to pass up. Even if I have to drop a pile of cash on FB shipping/tubs.

    Awsome, thank you!

Once those tubs come in, I have an excuse to add a new snake or two.
