Recommendations for interior lighting for display cages?
I would like to know what sorts of lights you recommend to light display enclosures. I have a couple random bar lights that have just left me dissapointed. One just stoped working all together and the other one will not turn on by a timer, so despite having it on a timer I have to reach inside the cage every morning to turn it on. Because of this i had started just leaving the blinds open and relying on the ambient light but as we are approaching winter I am finding that the snakes are just growing more and more lethargic and their appetites have dropped so much that its a little concerning. So please, if anyone has a light they like that works well inside the enclosure and will take to a timer please let me know. Bonus points if you can provide me a link.

I have the Animal Plastics T8 & T100 enclosures. And, I had AP put in their LED lights, the strip ones. Very soon, I am going to be building my own enclosure, and I think the LED strip lights that you can pick up from Amazon would work nice. I think they might have smart ones too, but I don't think the cost is warranted if the smart ones are too much more. I'm not speaking from experience, only from the creative mind. Although, I have used those strip lights (not on reptiles) and they seem like they would work exceptionally well for that purpose.

Re: Recommendations for interior lighting for display cages?
with regards to the LED lights, would you use regular ones or opt for waterproof ones? I found a set of dimmable white LED strip lights but they are not waterproof. I rather not use the RGB ones as they do not have a true white color to them.

Waterproof all the way. Not worth the risk with electrical items

Just doing a random search on Amazon, these here look like waterproof and 6000K light. I think that would be a true white?
