Rot dot under my snakes belly.

I have noticed This a week ago, it never got any worse but I have never seen something like this before and I have not seen any Similar case online. I am planning on getting him to a vet.what could this be? I checked mites, did not find any. My other snake also seems to have this problem. Sorry for the image, those very small red dots look black in the picture.

what substrate do you use? It does not look like scale rot yet...could possibly be a mite but there are so few. Any of these around the heat pits or eyes?

I am using paper towel, change them every 2 weeks or if they urate. No, I did not find any under the heat pit or eyes, only on the belly

It honestly just looks like a little bit of wear and tear from the pics, but tough to tell.

If what I'm seeing is accurate its kinda like the equivalent of a kid getting a skinned knee,it's gonna happen, won't cause any real damage. Kids will be kids, snakes will be snakes. Their bodies and scales won't be flawless all the time. If I'm correct it'll likely disappear next shed.

That being said, I really can't see the pic well (small cell phone screen) so don't take it to the bank just yet.

Following this in case anyone else has more insight because I have noticed spots like the first image on my BP as well, except on the scales on his back. There are only about two or three on his whole body. I was worried about the possibility of mites but I don't see them anywhere else and they seem to be too small to be mites compared to photos I have seen online. They disappear from my BP when he sheds, but he eventually gets another two or three at different places on his body when some time has passed after shedding, so I am guessing it could be from wear and tear.

I also tried looking at the dots after my BP shed on his shed skin and from what I have seen it looks like tiny scabs almost? Possibly from wear and tear when climbing something or crawling through his cypress mulch bedding.

They don't look exactly like what mine had but my BP had this strange tiny line of brown, rusty-looking scales on his spine. Was worried for the longest time that it was scale rot or some other ailment but it disappeared after his first shed with me so it's clear they were just scuffed up scales from whatever he bumped into. So as Craiga and Luvyna said it might merely be a case of simple wear and tear, but keep an eye on it nonetheless.
