    Scrub Python Localities

Hey Everyone! So I am really into Scrub Pythons (and pretty much every other species of snake for that matter) but especially scrubs. Anyways I found this really awesome post on another forum about scrub python localities.

    https://www.reptileforums.co.uk/foru...ocalities.html

I thought it was a really interesting read, and it helped my understand of the localities a lot. I hope y'all find it interesting as well!

I love that article. It’s a really good guide for those looking to learn more about these beasts. They really are extraordinary.

They really are incredible beasts. From what I've read and heard they are super intelligent animals. Hopefully I can own one one day.

The intelligence is out of this world. I’m ruined. They have very good eyesight so it’s a delight to watch their eyes while they are figuring you out. They track in such a visible way. My guy has always been a quirky weirdo...but he does this crazy thing at feeding time and only then. If he knows food is coming, but said food is not coming fast enough, he’ll face me and just open his mouth really quick. It’s not a yawn or jaw adjustment; the movement is quicker than that but still very deliberate. And he usually makes eye contact when he does it. It is WILD. I’ve never seen a snake do that.

That's really funny! My bp see a rat and he's like "meh I don't really need to eat it, but if you keep bugging me with it then I will"

Haha, my Dum is like that. Pickiest eater I’ve ever seen. I finally just stopped worrying about it. She’ll eat when she feels like it (which is never when chicks are involved) and he always gets her leftovers.

    Re: Scrub Python Localities

I need to get a snake that will eat the leftovers. Sounds mighty convenient.
