    Orchid bark problems

Iíve noticed since using orchid bark, every now and again Iíll get one or two bark mites in my vivís. Even blasting the bark in the microwave doesnít seem to deter them. Anyone had similar problems? What other type of natural looking bark would be better? Mainly for my BPís and Boa.

As far as Iíve read, bark mites donít effect the snake at all. Just a rather strange feeling knowing thereís little critters in there.
