    Ball Python Behavior

My ball python is sometimes very active during the day she seems to love to explore and really wants to be out of her terrarium she has two hides one on the hot side as well on the cool her humidity stays between 50-60% the temp on her hot is high 80s and the temp on the low side is low 80s we handle her every three days for a half an hour and she eats twice a week everything else seems healthy about her as well I just know this is odd behavior for a BP Iíve only had her a week less than a month I just donít want her to rub her nose raw but when I let her out she goes all over and explored she loves to climb as well can someone help I really donít know what it is and Iím a very cautious owner she doesnít do this everyday though.

Ok, hoppers are definitely too small for your BP. They eat hoppers for their first 3-5 meals out of the egg before quickly moving up to small adult mice.

Your snake is likely roaming because she's searching for food.

    Re: Ball Python Behavior

Do you know how old your snake is approximately as well as their approximate width at its widest point? Mines coming up on three months old and he eats 2 fuzzy rats once a week.
