Good afternoon guys and gals. I have a quick question on my bedding. I Live in upstate NY, and as you can imagine with heat in the winter I have trouble with keeping humidity. I have finally settled on coco husk last winter as it held the humidity great.
My question now is feeding on it. When he was a baby it was easy to put a plate or Tupperware top in there to feed him, now that he is growing it’s harder to do this. The FT mouse is usually dry and I watch him, but is this coco husk safe to feed him on if he accidentally swallows some? His last feeding he grabbed the mouse and I was able to pick him up while he grabbed the mouse and place him on top of the Tupperware top, but as he gets bigger I’m not sure if it’s smart to pick him up while he’s eating. Any suggestions are great.
How do you guys do it?
