Will be screwing & glueing something on the outside of the viv at the back over 3/4's of the vent leaving just enough space for wires for the thermostat & digital thermometers so if/when he manages to get the vent off he won’t be able to get out as it’ll be covered. Will be doing that later on tonight.
Does it matter what glue is used?
Coz' it’ll be superglued as well as screwed on.
As in the toxicity of the glue or doesn’t it matter coz' it’ll be on the outside of the viv?
He won’t be staying in the viv for about a day whilst it dries, I’ve got a separate mini enclosure for him to go in overnight with a heat mat underneath it that should be enough for it to be at the right temp.

I’ll put a picture up later of what I’ve done to stop him from getting out.

Once the glue dries it will be inert, and like you say, it will be on the outside anyway. I'd say you're good.

Caked a mini sheet of plastic in sealant (non toxic) and put 5 screws in it. No chance he’s getting out.

He may get the vent off again but there’s no way he’s getting past that.
