So someone who is close to me decided to buy 3 bps at once. Those of you that know me. I would like to say no there not new. Lol. Long story short they arrived 2 weeks ago. Husbandry, cage size and clutter is all on point. I致e never had an issue with a new bp feeding. Well nothing that I didn稚 handle a week later anyway.
We let them settle in for a solid week. Tried to feed appropriately sized f/t fuzzy rats. Breeder was feeding 10gram live fuzzys. They all refused. This is week two since they last ate from the breeder. I made a trip to pick up live fuzzy rats. I was able to pick out ones that could barely walk and looked like there eyes were closed.
They just got put in the cages. I would like to leave them in there over night. I got a sign on the door to remind someone they are an awful person if they open the door tonight. Dogs are sleeping with us to avoid all possible distractions via foot stomps and barking.
i basically have a fear that they might start chewing on the snakes. Even though I double checked there eyes and watched there movements. This is the first time feeding live. I feel like it痴 ok to leave them in over night. Given the blind and can barely walk thing.
What do you guys think?
