    humidity check

This might be a dumb question but where do you guys hang your humidity Gage, I had mine I'm about halfway between the top and bottom of the tank and I was reading about 50% but last night my BP knocked it over and since it's been on the ground it's read about is 70% humidity now. So where should have the reader? Should I aim for a ambient humidity of 50% or ground level humidity at 50%. I know too high of a humidity can cause respiratory infections

Its actually a great question. I personally don't use a humidity gauge because of this.

Put it two inches above the substrate. If it starts reading to high then you got problems.

there is an analog dial at the top of the tank (which came with it) and I bought two digital readers (temp and humidity) for both sides of the tank
