Cant get my tank to stay the same temp and humidity

You only have one hide, how can the snake thermoregulate with only one hide???

You really need to do some more research. It literally takes minutes of proper research to find out about thermostats and multiple hides for thermoregulation. It's on every care sheet and introductory paper.

And I'm sorry, but if you don't have the resources to bring an animal home and care for it properly you shouldn't bring the animal home. It's simply not fair to the animal.

Your enclosure is also wide open with no clutter, the glass is fully exposed and your snake will be stressed because of the lack of security.

My parents actually do like the snake and are happy that I have something to take care of and learn. I just have anxiety about asking for things that cost a good amount of money, I care about this snake more than my own life lol, thats why I came here to ask of what I should do as far as her heating situation but I have since figured it out. Now just trying to find more general information.

okay thank you! So could I make another humidity hide out of something that I have at home? And I live right near a forest, if I clean branches and cover up atleast two of the sides will that make her feel less stressed?

I ordered a heat pad a few days ago, it will be here in a few hours.

A heat pad should never ever be used without a thermostat as unregulated it will get hot enough to burn and kill your snake.

If you have a 20-gallon tank with two heat lamps you're likely running it too hot already unless your house ambient temp is about 60*F. I would turn off the "day" lamp, run only the red lamp on a thermostat, and cover the rest of the enclosure top with foil to keep heat and humidity in the tank.

At some point your snake will outgrow that tank so start saving up now for a proper reptile enclosure, not just a bigger fish tank.

Hey we all have to start somewhere, welcome to BP keeping and honestly I made the same mistake having researched for almost and year and there are just some things you can't learn unless you do it. In real life things aren't as easy or as perfect as a care sheet would lead you to believe. You found a good place to get info so you're on the right path.

Most don't come with thermostats, you have to purchase them separately.

In a pinch you can get a rheostat/lamp dimmer, something like this:

They only work if your room's ambient temperature is constant. During the summer and winter with the heat or A/C on your house temp is usually stable. In the spring and fall I have the windows open so the house ambient can swing quite a bit between 70*F and 78*F, which is why I use thermostats.
