    Growth!!

Hey guys, I’m a first time snake mom and I’m just so proud of my baby right now! After a really rough start(mites, malnourished, dehydrated, stuck shed), I am just so amazed at how much she’s growing and thriving in the barely 6 weeks I’ve had her! Feeling a bit braggy so I have to share.

    First day I got her(July 5th)

    Vs now!

She looks wonderful! Good weight, deep rich colors showing. Good job! It's so wonderful to see these young snakes that have been neglected start to blossom when given good care. I hope you have many happy years ahead with her.

    Re: Growth!!

Thank you! I was really worried about her in the beginning because she seemed to be having trouble with everything, really lethargic, covered in mites, had multiple layers of stuck shed, spine sticking out really bad, loose hanging skin and caving in belly but once I treated the mites and helped her get her stuck shed off, she really started thriving from there and she’s been an amazing eater since who’s never missed a meal!

also her temperament seems to have gotten soooo much better. In the early days she was constantly trying to escape or else trying to strike, and bit me twice. But since she started getting healthier she’s like a whole new snake. Super chill and calm, very curious and no signs of stress when she’s out being handled.
