Okay, little Totoro is all settled in (my niece picked his name, I love it!) and guys, he's an absolute joy. I'm so in love with this little guy already. When I first unboxed him he was understandably quite angry, very hissy and strikey (and yes it was impressive for such a little guy! He only weighs 37g). I let him bite me, partly so I would know what to expect and partly so he would know it won't work to scare me off, and it was such a non-issue, I barely felt anything. After that though, he's been a complete kitten! Very calm, very easily handled - hopefully this is his personality and not just being scared, and he'll end up a sweet boy. I've seen his parents on Snake Discovery and they both have big attitudes, lol.

He even already ate for me yesterday after settling in, and today he's spent most of the day staring at me, lol. He's absolutely stunning in person, no headstamp and just beautiful butter-yellow markings down his spine (he's a whiteside - technically Trumbower/whiteside het, hypo albino - with NO color at all on his sides) and very pale grey towards his tail. It's clear that SD breeds very healthy, very strong animals, I couldn't be more pleased with him. I'll try to post some pics, bear with me! (The last pic makes him look darker than he really is, the first two pics are pretty accurate color-wise)
