    What went wrong?...

Hey all I am a bit confused atm. So I put a pairing together back in March and there were two confirmed locks. However it is now July almost August and I have yet to receive any eggs. Does anyone know what could have went wrong?

    Thanks

Probably nothing went wrong. Not every pairing or lock will result in eggs. I paired three females this year. Saw multiple locks on all of them. Two laid eggs. The largest did not. It’s just something you’ll have to get used to if you plan on breeding.

Without more information I can think of a significant number of reasons. I can't list them all. If I had to guess the most common reason people ask that question: Female is at breed weight, but, is not mature...some females take longer than 3 years.

I have two pairing I started late october and november 2019, they are 28 and 30 days post prelay shed. So no eggs for me yet but I'm expecting them in the next week or two.

First important thing is to understand that funicular development take 4 to 8 months.

Second is to be in tune with your animals, being observant and know where they stand.

Because you put to snakes together does not mean you will have eggs.
