    Hypo jungle male

Apex is about 2 months. He is my first boa. Also my favorite snake.
Completely obsessed with my glasses and loves to go s’plorin with his 6’4” warm walking tree

An awesome looking snake! I've also started my journey with my first snake being a boa. Welcome to the forum!

Ty I definitely will! I got a bigger enclosure already for him. Just a matter of him growing a little. Just need to get a radiant heat panel and thermostat. I’m looking forward to making him an awesome enriched home. With perfect humidity and temps for him to thrive in.

Absolutely. Tbh he kind of blew me away. Especially coming from bp’s. Amazing eater. Very smart, reactive and curious, but docile at the same time. I would own more if it wasn’t for the costs of them and enclosures. That and the gf has an addiction to bp morphs! Although we love them all.

i still want to get a big female boa though before long. I’m 6’4” 290. It would be awesome to be big warm tree for an amazing big snake like that!

Had apex out tonight for a bit of supervised s’plorin. Snapped this pic right before he approached a no no spot. Not a great pic. But he is growing!

Oh yes. When I have him up in the racks. He is like a toddler when playtime is over. Tail locks the rack every time!

He is definitely growing. His ridge line isn’t showing quite as much as it use to. Keeping a close eye on it. May need to stretch his feeding out a little further.
