    Sanzo

He's a Banana who's heterozygous for Ghost/G-Stripe. My very first ball python. I wasn't expecting all the orange on him when I got him in person. It doesn't really show up in the photos. He's so pretty! When I held him he was really relaxed and exploring around. He hasn't shown any signs of balling up or being hissy. I have him set up in a tub until I can get a T-10 in however many months that will take. He's shed twice and hasn't missed a meal since he hatched. He's already eating F/T. I can't wait to watch him change colors and get freckles. He already has a couple spots.

A snoot! Forgot to mention he drank water from his bowl while I was still holding him fresh out of the shipping box. It was cute.

I fed Sanzo for the first-time last weekend and he took it like a champ. I barely put the F/T rat in his cage when he came shooting out of his hide. He dragged the rat back under his hide while wrapped around it like a happy cat.

I’m really glad he ate. My number one concern as a first-time snake owner was getting a snake that was eating well. I’m happy with the health and temperament of the snake I ended up with.

I lifted his hide a couple days later to make sure he ate the whole thing and wasn't sitting in blood. I accidentally broke the skin of the rat and a bit of blood pooled out.

I picked up the little dude for the first time since I pulled him out of the shipping box. He still won't settle when I hold him. He keeps slithering all over in what I assume is an attempt to get away and find a place to hide. He doesn't hiss or ball up though. He did a lot of periscoping and tongue flicking.

Gorgeous I have a banana myself. Cinnamon banana male. Great snake.

how long are you waiting to hold after a meal? Give him a few days to digest. Are you using anything to tap train before you handle? It’s a great and easy technique so you rarely if ever get accidentally tagged.

Let him just slither through your hands and get used to you. He will ride out and start to become more chill

so good he ate for you!!

Awesome! I think bananas are great. I gave him two days after his meal before I handled him.

I haven't done any tap training but I will when I get his T10. He doesn't seem to associate me with food yet. I'm trying not to freak him out since he's in a bin with six latches.I'm already like an earthquake when I encroach on him. He's still in the stage of sitting there confused when I intrude on his habitat. Unless he smells rat.

It's neat to see Sanzo coming out of his shell. He's proving to be a curious little dude. He slithers right onto my hand now any time I open the bin when he's already awake.
