Day 51 egg question
Hi all my first clutch is at day 51 I've been at 89. 5 to 90 degrees. They all started to slowly dimple the last week my question is one of the eggs is on top of the others I have 6 eggs the one on top kind of sits on parts of all the others it seems to be stuck pretty well but I didn't really try to see if it would come apart. Should I just leave it? I've read different things on trying to separate them so they don't affect them from piping looking for advice don't want to do anything wrong. thanks in advance

Re: Day 51 egg question
As long as all of the eggs have some surface exposed to the top, the snakes should pip just fine. Once the first one pips, you may find that the eggs are pretty easy to separate and so if you still feel the need, you may be able to do so at that time. Remember in the wild, the eggs have been in clumps with some on top for millions of years and have still hatched. We are trying to optimize their chances but nature knows how to get things done even without our assistance. Best of luck!.
