Remember Bogert. In these days of being sensitive to every subset of human being, we must consider that some of our friends here are from the England and they may not perceive the 4th of July as a day to celebrate.

Well, then...a Happy Weekend to everyone, everywhere...hopefully celebrate being alive & well? I really just wanted to share the video of that fellow singing & painting upside-down, anyway.

I believe Bogertophis was actually correct in saying Happy 4th of July. Had she said Happy Independence Day that would be exclusive to most of our friends from other countries. But anybody can celebrate a random date

Yes, I wasn't really being serious. It was more tongue in cheek. When I used to write programs for CMM's, one of the engineers was from the England and when we were about to break for the holiday, I said I hope you have a Happy 4th. He said, "Bill, we don't celebrate that one. We lost."
It really struck me as funny because I hadn't considered there were two sides to that story. I just happened to be on the happier side.

And that's how I took you... But you're right, we do tend to see only one side.

    As did I.

I however didn't pick up on the connection to the English specifically. I'm surprised I missed that one, but it went right over my head
