A mouse fuzzy. Thats the kind I was recommended when I bought him and I still have some left. Would a rat pup be better to feed since he's about 3 months old? (Don't know how many grams he is)

And as bcr229 said, this might just be hunger! Doesn't matter if you're a snake or a human, hunger makes us all cranky.

No wonder he's got attitude. FEED him more food, either mouse hoppers or rat fuzzies (pups), or at least several fuzzies at a time to use them up.

Re: Aggressive/dominant baby bp
UPDATE..
Ok guys.. i now know why my ball python had an attitude. I fed a rat fuzzy on May 31st and June 4th (i wanted to try 5 days instead of 7 since he is still a juvenile). Since its been 48 hours i wanted to try the pillow case thing so he could start to trust me more. I go to check on him and he is shedding which explains why he has been so defensive. There were no signs of shed before (other than him hiding at night) so i'm a little surprised.

You'll get better at reading the signs of impending sheds...snakes know before it's obvious to us.
