    Centipedes

I decided to get my first 2 about a week ago now. I have been both fascinated and creeped out by them for awhile now. Someone recommended starting with a small species first after I commented on his giant white leg. Of course within the month I had decided to get my first ones So far they are doing well & have eaten twice now!

Both are Otostigmus sp. violet. They are quite pretty!

Setups. I was a bit paranoid so I went extra tall for containers...

I would probably be okay if this one got on me but the tarantulas always make me pause for a second to control the initial urge to shake them off & flail aroundI’ve gotten better the longer I’ve had them though.

They are really interesting! So far I’ve given them red runner roaches. Reading up on them in the groups though it looks like they can have pretty much anything including canned cat food & fruit every once in awhile.
