Best way to heat my rack?

Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread at first so hoping mods delete it.
Hi guys, I'm building a new rack that will have 6 shelves. It goes the long way, and in my current rack I am using UTH's with Jumpstart thermostats. I'm looking to go with heat tape and a vivarium electronics thermostat for my new setup but I'm stumped on how I should set up the heat tape because I don't want to have multiple different pieces. Do you guys have any ideas? I'll include a picture that shows how my rack is set up.

There are to ways to go about it, either in parallel which mean different pieces on every shelves (they must all be of the same size) or in serpentine which means 1 long strip running through your rack (that requires slits in the rack so you run the strip from top to bottom.)

are there any detailed videos on how to snake individual pieces together using wiring? I saw one video on YouTube but he doesn't explain the materials used so I'm stuck!
