Tips on switching from mice to rats.

To avoid the hassle of feeding multiples in the future I am looking to switch my male BP from Mice to Rats. As BPs are notoriously picky eaters I wondered if there were any simple tips and ticks to help in the transition and avoid waste ?
My PB is currently 150 g and I have got 3 Rat Fuzzy's each is 15g - 18gs from the pet shop today. Once these are done I'll be moving him to Rat pups.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

So you have not offered rats yet?

I wouldn't try to fix something that may not be broken.

My Ball back in the day switched fine. Most all my snakes did.

If you do have problems I would try getting a mouse and a rat that equal one proper meal. Thaw them and warm them together to cross the scents and go from there.

But you may not have any issue at all.

He took the rat no problem.

One thing I have noticed is that he has remained in his hide since he was fed on Wednesday evening. Normally I would have seen some activity even if it was just a stretch, guess he is nice and happy and digesting his rat.

See, no problem to be fixed.

A hiding snake is a happy snake. Sounds good to me.
